BUYING GOLD / 6 OCTOBER 2026
Your first gold purchase: price, purity, fees and confirmation
A plain-language guide to reviewing a gold purchase or savings scheme before confirming payment with Kanika.

Check the purity, number of grams, applicable price and any charges. A prominently displayed gold rate may not be the final amount payable for a specific jewellery item or transaction. Use the final review screen or written showroom quote to understand the total.
Check the product’s rules
An outright purchase and a monthly savings scheme may have different schedules and conditions. Read the selected product’s current terms, including payment timing, missed payments, cancellation and collection. Do not assume rules from an older app or another provider apply.
Review collection and selling separately
Ask how physical collection works and whether any minimum quantity or charge applies. If selling or buyback matters to your decision, ask for the relevant quote and terms separately. Purchase price and future resale proceeds are different figures.
Complete and check the record
Pay only through Kanika’s official checkout or its confirmed showroom process. Wait for a successful transaction status and retain your receipt. Check that the account records the completed purchase. A button click or pending payment does not mean gold has been allocated.
